What has exercise based therapy done for me?
After sustaining an incomplete spinal cord injury (C6) in March 2005, I began the long climb to recovery. I believed, from the very beginning that I would walk again and so after four months of inpatient therapy my family and I began the search for a therapy center that would support me in my recovery and believe in continuing improvement through hard work. I found, that exercise based therapy was the perfect match for me. I am now walking with a cane, and still feel that there is a lot I still can accomplish.

When a new exercised based therapy center came to Pleasanton, I was very excited. SCI-FIT has proved to be everything I hoped it would be, when I am there I am pushed hard and worked to my limits, keeping my body and mind healthy, and furthering me in my recovery.
