Bianca Clinch - Facility Manager
Bianca Clinch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University. She started her career in SCI exercise-based therapy in 2002. For 3 years she worked over 35 hours per week on the floor with all types of injuries. Her client load over the last 5 years has ranged from 3 months post-injury complete to 10 years post-injury incomplete. She has worked with kids 9 years old, to adults well into their 60’s, males and females alike. After 2 years as a Specialist, Bianca was promoted to facility manager. As facility manager her responsibilities included contacting and scheduling all new clients while accommodating the needs of all existing clients. She was also responsible for hiring qualified staff members and was directly involved in making sure their training was above adequate and consistent enough to provide the clients with the best possible therapy. While working as facility manager, Bianca maintained a client load of 20 hours per week; she felt it was necessary and vital to her role to keep up with the changing environment and continue to improve and expand her knowledge of exercise-based therapy. Over the last 3 years she has successfully balanced the intricacies of operating a facility with the skill that is necessary to provide the clients with the best possible chance of recovery. She excited to use this experience to make SCI-FIT the best training center available to those individuals seeking to improve their abilities.
Jerry Rainey - Floor Manager
Jerry Rainey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Oklahoma State University. He started his career in SCI exercise-based therapy in 2003. Over the last 4 years he has worked over 5000 hours with injury levels varying from C3 to L2. In his years of experience he has worked with all levels of ability, and is equally as experienced working with complete injuries as he is with incomplete injuries. Within 3 years of starting at the facility, Jerry was moved into a Lead SCI Recovery Specialist position. As a Lead Specialist not only was he responsible for overseeing the progress of over 20 clients in any given week, he was also responsible for training new staff members and matching their specific skills to the needs of those clients. Although Jerry embraced his role as educator, he still understood the importance of expanding and improving his own knowledge base. He has visited and contacted most SCI therapy centers around the country and prides himself in knowing about the latest technologies these centers provide. Jerry hopes to use his experiences and knowledge to make SCI-FIT the most advanced training center available to those individuals who are looking to improve.
